Undergraduate Requirements
- Achieve a minimum SAT score of 1150 (out of 1600 math
and critical reading) or ACT composite score of 25
- Achieve a minimum cumulative high school GPA of 3.4 on
a 4.0 scale
- Be ranked in the top 25% of the high school class
- Complete four years of science courses and four years of
math courses at the high school level
- Provide evidence of scholarly, professional and personal
potential and a desire to become a physician
Ross University Requirements
Ross University will guarantee admission to Gannon students who meet the following
criteria:
- Successfully complete the course requirements for Ross
University School of Medicine
- Earn an overall GPA of 3.25 through the junior year for the
“4+4” program OR 3.25 through the sophomore year for
the “3+4” program with NO grade lower than a “C” and no
repeated courses
- Earn a minimum combined score of 24 on the MCAT
(students are encouraged to score higher in order to be
competitive for admission)
- Submit an application directly to Ross University
- Submit two letters of recommendation to Ross University
School of Medicine
- Successfully acquire a positive recommendation after an in-
person interview
