General Requirements
Completion of 16 academic units at the high school level; four of which must be English; three in social sciences, at least two units of math, one being in algebra, two units of science with a related laboratory or the equivalent. Sciences must be one unit of biology and one unit of chemistry. A grade of C or higher must be earned in all high school courses.
Your academic course selection, grades, rank in class, guidance counselor recommendation and SAT/ACT scores will be carefully reviewed for admission consideration.
Next-Step Requirements
Registered nurses with an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) may qualify to obtain the BSN at Gannon online through the Next-Step Program. Next-Step guarantees acceptance of up to 64 credits from an accredited ADN program, which includes a maximum of 32 nursing articulation credits. Students who hold a non-nursing associate or bachelors degree may qualify for the next-step option of the generic BSN degree.
Transfer Requirements
Students requesting transfer from other universities will be reviewed and placed on a space-available basis. Nursing specific courses taken at other universities are not transferable.
