General Requirements
Completion of 16 academic units at the high school level four of which must be in English; four in social sciences, at least two units of math including algebra I and II, three or four units of science including biology and chemistry with labs and physics. The remaining units are to be completed in mathematics or science.
Your academic course selection, grades, rank in class, guidance counselor recommendation and SAT/ACT
scores will be carefully reviewed for admission consideration.
Students who complete Gannon University’s academic requirements and successfully complete their fourth year at an accredited school of medical technology will be awarded the bachelor of science degree in medical technology. Selection of students into the fourth year hospital laboratory program is based primarily on grade point average (GPA) (minimum 2.5-2.8) and GPA in science courses. Students should review the program’s GPA requirements.
Students who are not accepted to a hospital-based program may complete a bachelor’s degree in another field.
