SAT total of 1170 or higher in critical reading and math, ACT total of 26 or higher
High school GPA of 3.5 out of 4.0
Additional evidence of scholarly and extracurricular activities

Admissions Process
Students are encouraged to apply by the January 15th yearly deadline. All applicants will be placed in one group, a “pool” from which the ten top students are chosen. Once offered acceptance, students will have two weeks to send their enrollment deposit to reserve their space in the program. If the deadline passes without deposit, their space will be given to another student and they will be placed at the bottom of the applicant wait list.
Admissions Process to LECOM School of Pharmacy
Successful completion of the pre-pharmacy curriculum at Gannon University.
Minimum GPA of 3.4 in pre-pharmacy curriculum, with no grades lower than a "C".
Minimum GPA of 3.4 in science and mathematics courses, with no grade lower than a “C”.
Submit two letters of recommendation. One of these letters MUST be from the prepharmacy selection committee at Gannon University. The letter will address the personal growth of the student during the pre-pharmacy phase of the curriculum at Gannon University, as well as the student's maturity, responsibility, and desire to become a pharmacist. The second letter should be from a pharmacist.
Demonstrate leadership potential and commitment to the pharmacy profession.
Submit a completed application for admission to the LECOM School of Pharmacy.
Students in this program cannot retake courses in which they have earned a ''D” or “F” grade and remain in a conditionally guaranteed spot.
Personal interview at LECOM.
The Pharmacy college Admissions Text (PCAT) is strongly recommended.
Students who have taken pre-requisite courses in high school (dual enrollment) must supplement each course with an additional, higher level course in the same discipline.
Students cannot withdraw from any course during a semester in an effort to reduce their course load. Such withdrawal will result in the removal of the student from the program.
Pre-requisite courses cannot be taken pass/fail.
Students cannot take any requirements during the summer.
Successful completion of a criminal background check.
LECOM does not allow foreign nationals to apply for this conditionally guaranteed program.
LECOM will not accept transfer students into this program.
