In 2000, the Dahlkemper School of Business underwent a rigorous
review process leading to this prestigious recognition. The

teaching methods and found Gannon to be exemplary.
The Council for Higher Education (CHEA) has formally recognized
the ACBSP. The ACBSP was the first and is currently the only
business accrediting agency to achieve such a distinction.
CHEA acts as a national policy center and clearinghouse on
accreditation for higher education.
The ACBSP accreditation was the latest in a long line of local
and regional firsts for the Dahlkemper School of Business. The
Dahlkemper School of Business was the first in the region to have
both the undergraduate and graduate business programs accredited by
a national accrediting body for management education.
ACBSP accreditation, coupled with the University's existing
national and regional accreditations, is an assurance of the
Dahlkemper School of Business' academic excellence and program

employers in assessing the stature of the Dahlkemper School's
