Program Overview
Certificate-level coursework can supplement your educational and/or work credentials, and can be completed in a shorter time-frame than degree programs. If you decide later to pursue a degree program, credit earned as a certificate student will apply to most degree programs. For example, a student earning a certificate in PC Applications will find the credits typically apply to the Associate or Bachelor degree programs in Accounting, Business Administration, Management, Marketing, Information Systems, or Computer Science.
Microcomputer skills are critical for success in almost any profession and increase an individual's competitive edge in the job market.
The PC Applications Certificate is ideal for the person wanting a strong foundation in basic microcomputer skills and techniques. Also, the student with a non-computer background wishing to change career directions can begin with a certificate.
