  • GU Finance Facts

    • Recent graduates of Gannon’s finance program are employed by institutions such as Erie Insurance Group, Bank One, Chicago Mercantile Exchange, Citigroup, PNC Bank, The Vanguard Group, Chemical Bank and the Chicago Board of Trade.
    • Student Investment Trust allows students to apply investment concepts by investing Trust money in stock and bond markets. Active participants attend an investment conference in their senior year.
    • Qualified juniors at Gannon may choose to pursue an accelerated MBA program and complete both their undergraduate and graduate degrees in just five years, rather than six.
    • Gannon’s five year BS/MBA program provides the 150 credits required to take the CPA Examination.

    • The program is housed in the Gannon University Dahlkemper School of Business Administration.
    • Students in the program interact with students and professors in the fields of accounting, business administration, entrepreneurship, finance, international business, management, marketing, risk management and insurance, and sports management and marketing.
    • The Dahlkemper School of Business Administration at Gannon has received accreditation from the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP), making Gannon the first business school in northwestern Pennsylvania with both undergraduate and graduate programs that are nationally accredited.
    • All Gannon business students have the opportunity to participate in many professional business organizations, including: the Gannon Accounting Club, Student Investment Trust, Alpha Kappa Psi Professional Business Fraternity, Gannon Advertising Club and the American Marketing Association.
