  • The Student Health Services Office at Gannon is an ambulatory care facility. Our work within the field of higher education is to promote wellness and conserve the time of the students for their classwork and studies by preventing and treating minor illnesses and injuries. A nurse practitioner is available at the Health Center during the Fall and Spring semesters.

    It is necessary to complete a Health Examination Form in addition to your current athletic physical.

    Gynecological Services are not available. Students needing this service will be referred to local physicians and/or agencies.

    Promoting Awareness Towards a Community of Healthy Educated Students (P.A.T.C.H.E.S) is a Gannon Student Health Advisor Committee acting as a liaison between the Gannon University Health Center and Gannon Students. Members work as a team to address concerns regarding health issues that affect the entire campus including smoking, eating disorders, nutrition, fitness, wellness, and many other areas of interest. P.A.T.C.H.E.S. sponsors speakers, workshops, health fairs, and other activities beneficial to our campus such as blood drives, breast cancer awareness, SmokeOut, heart month, Get Rec'd and Springtopia surveys

    How do I join P.A.T.C.H.E.S.?

    P.A.T.C.H.E.S. is open to all students with a participating interest in:

    • Wellness Programs
    • Health Advisement
    • Health Surveys
    • Networking with other Gannon departments and community agencies
    • Meetings are held monthly
    • Active participation credited on co-curricular transcripts
    • Requirements (1 hour of service per month to be an active member - and be included on transcript)
